Lovescape lets its AI companions control The Handy, with a demo at Venus Berlin

The AI girlfriend platform Lovescape says its characters can now control The Handy, a connected stroker, in real time. In a company blog post dated October 19, Lovescape writes that the character sets pace, intensity and rhythm during a chat. The two companies are sharing a booth at the Venus Berlin adult trade show from October 22 to 25 and offering visitors timed private sessions with the integration.

So far the only source is Lovescape itself. AIrotic has not found independent reporting or a statement from The Handy, and could not verify the company’s claim that this is the first time an AI companion has controlled a device. Interactive toys synced to video or a partner are not new. What changes here is who holds the controls: a character generated by a language model, responding to a story the user co-writes.

That shift makes the companion more than a voice. It also raises questions about consent, safety limits and data that a text-only chat never had to answer.
