Kickstarter suspends Pulsar F1 stroker campaign, citing AI companion rule

Kickstarter has suspended the crowdfunding campaign for the Pulsar F1, a stroker from Hongkong Pulsar Technology that pairs with AI companion characters, SEXTECHGUIDE reported. According to the company, the notice it received cited Kickstarter’s restriction on AI companions that offer romantic or sexual companionship, plus a concern that the product was being sold outside the platform. Pulsar says its website only described the device and sent visitors to Kickstarter, without taking orders.

The rule exists: Kickstarter’s list of prohibited items bans AI companions, “with and without a physical component,” that offer romantic or sexual companionship. The F1 builds its strokes from what the maker calls motion signatures, recorded from more than 50 hours of human hand technique, syncs with video and VR through funscripts, and lets owners create AI companions that steer the session by voice. The F1 is listed at a $99 preorder price, rising to $199 later.

For teledildonics, it is a clear sign of where the lines are drawn. A connected toy is fine. A toy with a companion attached is the thing platforms now write rules about.
