Nature Select reportedly passes $100 million in funding after A+ round
Nature Select, the company behind AI companion EVE and AI social product Elys, has completed an A+ funding round, taking its total financing above $100 million, LatePost reported on November 4. The report names investors including 5Y Capital and Qiming Venture Partners. That $100 million figure is cumulative funding, not the size of the latest round or a valuation.
The report does not specify the new round’s amount. A November 5 Zhitong Caijing report carried by Phoenix describes it as tens of millions of dollars, without giving an exact figure. We have not independently verified the financing or found a company announcement confirming its terms. LatePost says Elys remains invitation-only: users create AI doubles that post, browse and interact based on their interests and style, then decide whether to take an introduction further themselves. It also reports a planned redesign emphasizing personal-agent capabilities, not a confirmed November launch.
EVE and Elys place two different relationships under one roof: an AI that keeps you company and an AI that helps you meet other people. The funding report is a sign of investor interest in both approaches, not evidence that either has solved the harder work of sustaining a meaningful connection.
